The definitive work on Rose. Ms. Ross has provided us with our first real glimpse into the life of Rose.  She was one of the few early writers to actually interview descendants.  While very enjoyable to read,  there are a few innacuracies in this book. (Not to detract form the authors work or research skills.) This is a must read!
