This was a partial eclipse 
of the Sun.
It was the first I ever shot using a digital camera.
The sequence on the left is a composite image.

 

 The small images were shot through a pair of 8x50 Celestron Binoculars and the larger images were shot using eyepiece projection and a solar screen through a 300mm lens. Eclipse01.jpg
