Another Lost Soul Found
Jerry Miller has done it again.......
Potential info on another "missing link." The info that I have says that Julian ("Julia") O'NEAL, d/o Solomon & Eva (BELTZ) O'NEAL married Aaron MOUNTAIN. They lived in the area of where our farm is, close to the Five Forks area.
I was given this info by a FLETCHER researcher.
Here is the pic of her gravestone. On you webpage, you have her listed as "Julian," which when I downloaded it as a GEDCOM, manifested her as being male! DOHHH!!
Her stone gives "July Ann" as her name. Her son, Jonathan, was buried alongside her. She married Aaron Mountain, though I'm not sure where he's buried. (His might be one of the stones that "disappeared" when the church was leveled.) They are listed in the 1850 Census, Monroe Township.
More soon as I dig..... Jerry

Thanks, Jerry, for another great find!

Corrections:

I need to print a couple of corrections.
In the December issue on page 6, I posted a photo of Jesse O'Neal, and said the owner of the photo was Donna O'Neal Reynolds. OOPS, it is actually owned by Denise O'Neal.
In the January update I stated that Scott Troutman discovered the James O'Neal Cemetery. It was actually Jerry Miller who discovered the cemetery.

James O'Neal Cemetery Update

We haven't scheduled a work party yet. When the weather breaks we will begin work.
More on this later.
Cousin Kenneth is negotiating with the owner to determine how large an area we can use before we begin work. To date Ken reports he has received $50.oo in donations.
This is a good start, but we will need more to put up a decent fence around the site as planned. If you'd like to make a donation, contact Ken at kon@hhs.net
You can also contact Ken if you'd like to volunteer to donate materials, or get involved in a work party. If you're going to the reunions this summer, we'll probably have a work party that weekend.
