In my gr-granddad's (Baltzer Snyder) photo album are
a couple of pictures of Fred O'Neal (s. of Barnard & Elizabeth).
He was a cousin, I believe, to Baltzer's wife Elizabeth Pee, whose mother
was Sarah Lauderbaugh.
In both pictures, Fred is looking rather dashing,
hoisting his cigar Ernie
Kovacs-style. They look to be from 1885 or so,
which would make Fred around 40 when they were taken, at most. They
may be as old as ca. 1878. |
