I found some records at BLM showing Edward O'Neal with 360 acres 6-24-1895,  160 acres 9-15-1902 and  40 acres 6-12-1915.

To our knowledge, Edward was the only one that came to Idaho.  He came to the gold fields of Leesburg and then left there to ranch in the Pahsimeroi Valley of Idaho.  He and his wife are buried in the May cemetery of which I am affiliated with.   To our misfortune, brother-in-law Don passed away in July of this year.  He has two Sons, Ted and Ben that are carrying on the ranching tradition that Edward started in the valley.  Ted lives on the original ranch which has been in the family for many years.
