I picked up the following out on worldconnect.rootsweb.com.
I think this is Peter O'Neal and Sarah Sparks son Samuel. Samuel O'Neal
b. 24 June 1806 Bedford County, Pa. d. 24 Jan 1858 Ames twp.
Athens County, Ohio, wife Mary Polly Bryson b. 13 Mar. 1811
in Bedford, Bedford Co. Pa. d. 13 May 1895 Ames twp, Athens County,
Ohio. married 3 Jan 1839 in Athens County, Ohio. Information also gives
their children which I did not write down. Research of Douglas Deal,

I checked out the site and there is no additional info on Samuel provided, but there is quite a bit of info on his descendants. Here's the addy: <http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=:1563881&id=I3117> I tried sending a message but the mailbox was unknown. <deal2reno@aol.com> So, if we want to try to prove if this Samuel was ours we're probably going to have to do it on our own. We know that our Samuel lived with and took care of his father until his father's death in 1832. When his father died Peter left the home to his wife. We never knew what happened to Samuel after that. Four years later this site shows a Samuel from Bedford County Pa living in Athens County Ohio. Athens County was formed from Washington County. Is it just coincidence that Samuel would head for Washington County, or did he he travel there because he had family there?
